Together we can help re-elect
Jim Zay to the DuPage County Board
As a lifelong resident of DuPage County, Jim Zay chose to raise his family here because of the same reasons why you call DuPage home – safe communities, low crime rate, low taxes, high quality schools and extensive recreational resources.
Known as a strong, independent voice on the DuPage County Board, Jim has held the line on taxes, enhanced public safety, reduced the size of county government (while maintaining services), enacted tough ethics reforms and improved infrastructure.
Jim has led the charge in flood prevention as chairman of the Stormwater Management Committee. Millions of dollars have been invested in infrastructure throughout the county to mitigate flooding.
As chairman of the DuPage Water Commission, the agency eliminated the quarter-cent sales tax in June of 2016, saving DuPage County consumers $36 million annually. In addition, Jim led the effort to cut the agency’s budget, eliminate outstanding debt and reduced the water rate for the past two years, while still providing safe, clean water to more than three-quarters of a million people. Jim's Record
Jim serves as vice president of Service Stampings manufacturing in Roselle, where he is responsible for all financial aspects of the daily operations such as purchasing, insurance and employee benefits.

He volunteered at DuPage PADS, as a Carol Stream Park District youth baseball coach and now serves as president of the Carol Stream Travel Softball Baseball Association. He is an active member of Corpus Christi Church, the Knights of Columbus, Community Consolidated School District 93 Anti-Bullying Task Force and Glenbard North Panther Athletic Parent Boosters.
As a graduate of Elmhurst College, Jim earned a bachelor-of-arts degree in political science and history. He is also a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst.
